Mother's Day

Mother's Day is tomorrow! I live about 6 hrs from my mother but we stay in touch through our smart phones. I love that I can just call her for a recipe, advice or to just chat. Today as I listen to the chatter of customers walking around the shop, I am smiling at their comments. "My mom had this when I was little." "My grandma would make her biscuits in a bowl just like this." "We had this picture in our living room growing up." People love to reminisce. And I am thankful today for giving people the opportunity to reminisce as they browse our lovely shop.

So be sure to take time to make those special memories with your own children...you know the memories that make you smile when you reminisce.
